Fox Confirms Deadpool Movie, Fantastic Four Reboot Pushed Back

Fox has recently announced that it has decided to move forward with the long-awaited movie for Marvel comic character “Deadpool.”

Deadpool first appeared in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, where he was played by Ryan Reynolds (The Proposal, Safe House). The Deadpool film was originally planned as a spin-off of the first Wolverine solo movie, but the idea was trashed. The project is now just moving forward after test footage for the film (also featuring Reynolds as Deadpool) was leaked and got significant online attention. The Deadpool film is rumored to star Ryan Reynolds once again and is set for a February 12, 2016, release.

Fox has also decided to push its Fantastic Four reboot, starring Jamie Bell and Miles Teller, from its original June 19, 2015, release date to an August 7 release date.
